## Use this model from an AI agent

Atlas Cloud ships three first-party integration surfaces. All three authenticate
with the same API key via the `ATLASCLOUD_API_KEY` environment variable.

### MCP server

The official MCP server (`atlascloud-mcp`) exposes this model to any
MCP-compatible host — Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Goose,
Claude Desktop. One-line install:

```bash
# Claude Code
claude mcp add atlascloud -- npx -y atlascloud-mcp
# OpenAI Codex CLI
codex mcp add atlascloud -- npx -y atlascloud-mcp
# Gemini CLI
gemini mcp add atlascloud -- npx -y atlascloud-mcp
export ATLASCLOUD_API_KEY="your-api-key"
```

Then ask in plain English; the agent calls `atlas_generate_image` with `model: "bytedance/seedream-v4.7/edit"`.
The server fetches each model's schema and validates parameters before submitting,
so invalid requests fail fast without spending credits.

### Agent Skills

`atlas-cloud-skills` is a portable skill package (API reference, code templates in
Python / Node.js / cURL, model IDs with pricing) for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and
12+ other agents:

```bash
npx skills add AtlasCloudAI/atlas-cloud-skills
export ATLASCLOUD_API_KEY="your-api-key"
```

Skills docs: https://www.atlascloud.ai/docs/skills

### CLI

The `atlas` binary runs Atlas Cloud from a terminal or CI script. Async media jobs
are polled and downloaded automatically (use `--no-download` when a script only
needs the output URLs):

```bash
# Install (Homebrew, npm, or shell installer)
brew install AtlasCloudAI/tap/atlascloud
# npm install -g atlascloud-cli
# curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/AtlasCloudAI/cli/main/install.sh | sh
atlas auth login
atlas generate image bytedance/seedream-v4.7/edit -p "Your prompt here"
```

  If enabled, the output will be encoded into a BASE64 string instead of a URL. This property is only available through the API.
  - Default: `false`

**Required Parameters Example**:

```json
{
  "model": "bytedance/seedream-v4.7/edit",
  "prompt": "",
  "images": [
    ""
  ]
}
```

**Full Example**:

```json
{
## About this model
_Vendor-supplied description. Any pricing or endpoint mentioned below refers to_
_other platforms — use the Atlas Cloud values above._
#### 1. Introduction
**Seedream 4.7 Edit** is the reference-driven editing variant of ByteDance Seed's Seedream 4.7 image model, exposed as the API model identifier `bytedance/seedream-v4.7/edit`. Supply one or more reference images together with a natural-language instruction, and the model returns a single edited result that applies the change while leaving everything else intact.
Editing is where version 4.7's post-training gains are most visible. The model's stated advantage over Seedream 4.5 and 5.0 Lite is that it executes an edit instruction more faithfully while holding the source image's key information, subject consistency, and local structure stable — the property that determines whether an edited image ships as-is or goes back for manual repair.
---
#### 2. Key Features & Innovations
- **Edit Locality**: Applies the requested modification while preserving identity, lighting direction, color grading, and surrounding structure — the difference between an edit and a regeneration.
- **Multi-Reference Composition**: Accepts up to 10 reference images and reasons across them jointly, resolving instructions that span inputs ("replace the garment in image 1 with the one from image 2").
- **Conversational Instructions**: Edits are described in plain language, with numbered references mapped to inputs automatically — no masks or region annotations required.
- **Broad Input Format Support**: References may be JPEG, PNG, WEBP, BMP, TIFF, GIF, HEIC, or HEIF, supplied as URLs or Base64, up to 30 MB and 36M pixels each, with aspect ratios from 1:16 to 16:1.
- **Full Resolution Range**: Output at 1K, 2K, or 4K, or at explicit `WIDTH*HEIGHT` dimensions, independent of the reference images' own dimensions.
- **Efficiency at Editing Scale**: Retains the 4.0/4.2 generation's cost and performance profile, which matters most in editing workflows where every asset passes through several revision rounds.
