It takes a couple of minutes. We review applications on a rolling basis and reach out by email.
Who can apply
Primary or core maintainers of public, actively-developed open-source projects under an OSI-approved license, updated within the last 3 months. One application per project, using the email bound to your Atlas Cloud account. Toy, demo, or star-farmed repos don't qualify.
How are tiers decided
Stars set a starting tier, but we also weigh real usage, downloads, dependents, active maintenance, and ecosystem importance. The final tier and amount are decided by human review.
How are credits delivered
As a redemption code by email. Starter and Growth receive a one-time 3-month grant; Flagship renews monthly with real usage. Two consecutive months of zero real calls, or removing the badge, pauses the grant.
How long does review take
We review on a rolling basis, usually within 3–5 business days, and reach out by email.
