Data Deletion and Account Termination Policy
Last Updated: December 2025
In accordance with applicable global data protection laws (including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and LGPD), this policy outlines your rights regarding data deletion and account termination when using Atlas Cloud's services.
1. Right to Delete and Account Closure
In accordance with applicable global data protection laws (including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and LGPD), you may request the deletion of your personal data and the termination of your account at any time by contacting our Data Protection Office at [email protected].
2. Scope of Deletion and Anonymization
Upon the successful processing of your deletion request:
  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We will delete or permanently anonymize your name, email address, IP addresses, and payment identifiers from our active production databases.
  • User-Generated Content: Your interaction history, including prompts and AI-generated outputs, will be disassociated from your identity.
  • Irreversibility: You acknowledge that account termination is final and irreversible. Once processed, you will lose access to all subscription benefits, historical data, customized settings, and any remaining credits or virtual balances without compensation.
3. Critical Exceptions for Data Retention (Platform Protection)
To protect the legitimate business interests of Atlas Cloud and comply with statutory obligations, we reserve the right to retain certain information as follows:
  • Legal & Regulatory Compliance: We shall retain transaction records, billing information, and tax-related data for a period required by applicable law to fulfil accounting and anti-money laundering obligations.
  • Security and Fraud Prevention: To prevent platform abuse (e.g., "sybil attacks," fraudulent multi-accounting, or terms of service violations), we may retain cryptographically hashed versions of certain identifiers to maintain our blacklist and security protocols.
  • Technical Backups: Data may persist in our encrypted, offline backup systems for a limited duration (up to 60 days) until the next scheduled overwrite. During this period, such data is put "beyond use" and not processed for any commercial purpose.
4. Third-Party Model Provider Disclaimer (Aggregator Specific)
As a model aggregation platform, Atlas Cloud transmits your prompts to third-party AI providers (including but not limited to Google, Byteplus etc.) to facilitate service delivery.
  • Independent Controllers: You acknowledge that these third parties operate as independent data controllers. A deletion request submitted to Atlas Cloud does not automatically trigger a deletion of data previously transmitted to and stored by third-party providers.
  • Limitation of Liability: We are not responsible for the data retention policies of third-party model providers. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
5. Timeline for Completion
We aim to respond to and complete deletion requests within thirty (30) days of receipt. In cases of complex requests or high volume, we may extend this period as permitted by law, in which case we will notify you accordingly.
