Overview

Yapper (yapper.so) is an all-in-one AI creative studio: leading video and image generation for professional advertising and story production, and an Agent tool that plans and executes entire creative workflows from a plain-language brief. Its pitch to creators is "don't prompt, just direct": pick an outcome, not a model. Behind that simplicity sits a hard infrastructure problem. A subscription product whose users expect the newest model the week it ships has to add models constantly, and delivered the direct way, each new model can mean a new provider to procure, integrate, and support.

Yapper came to Atlas Cloud when its Seedance 2.0 usage was growing faster than its previous setup could support. It moved that workload to Atlas, then kept adding: Seedream v5.0 Pro and Lite for image, then Seedance 2.0 mini, all through the same integration, with no new vendor onboarding. On that workload, Yapper has become one of the highest-volume customers on the platform.

Key results:

  • One model endpoint on day one, six within weeks, all through one integration and one vendor relationship: Seedance 2.0 and 2.0 mini for video, Seedream v5.0 Pro and Lite for image generation and editing. Every addition after the first cost zero procurement and zero integration work.
  • A production video workload from week one, steady ever since. Yapper didn't pilot Atlas with test traffic; it moved live user generations over, and they have run at consistent weekly volume since the first week.
  • No infrastructure headcount added while the workload ran.

The challenge

Every new model is a new procurement

Yapper's promise to its users is model breadth: whatever is state of the art this month, in one subscription. Delivered the direct way, that promise is a procurement problem before it is an engineering one. Each new provider means another commercial relationship and billing account, another authentication setup and integration, and another system the team has to support before it even knows whether the model improves the product. Yapper can't predict which lab ships the next model its users will ask for by name, and the leaderboard changes monthly. Every week a small team spends onboarding a provider is a week not spent on the product users actually see.

The pressure sharpened when Yapper's Seedance 2.0 usage took off and its previous setup couldn't keep pace on support. For a consumer creative app the stakes are higher than they look: traffic is spiky, users churn if generation is slow or a hot new model is missing, and margins live or die on inference cost. Yapper needed a provider that could carry a fast-growing workload today and absorb the next model addition without a new procurement cycle.

The solution

An on-ramp for new models, not another vendor

With Atlas Cloud, Yapper gets:

  • One integration that keeps paying for itself. Yapper onboarded Atlas once, for Seedance 2.0. Within weeks, five more model endpoints followed through the same API key. Adding a model stopped being a procurement project and became a product decision.
  • Access to 350+ models across video, image, LLM, and audio. When the next frontier model lands in the Atlas catalog, Yapper can test it the day it's worth testing, whichever lab it comes from, without opening a vendor relationship with that lab.
  • Support and provisioning that scale with the workload. This was the gap that brought Yapper to Atlas. Consumer creative traffic spikes when content trends; Atlas provisions for it rather than capping it.

"We ran extensive tests across multiple Seedance 2.0 providers tracking key metrics, and Atlas delivered the best results overall, consistently showing the lowest error rates. That gave us the confidence to move forward with other models, making Atlas a reliable hub to support our key AI offerings."

The impact

Since bringing Seedance 2.0 to Atlas, Yapper has gone from one model endpoint on Atlas to six across video and image through that single integration, while shipping its Agent workflow tool, an expanded emotion-control system for talking-avatar videos, and support for 40+ languages, and without adding infrastructure headcount. The video workload that prompted the move has run at steady weekly volume since the first week.

  • Uptime is at a record high, with the lowest hard error rate Yapper has seen on this workload, above 99.9%.
  • Volume of credit spend on Yapper has grown roughly 2x since launching on Atlas.

Why Atlas over the alternatives

The creative-suite market is a knife fight over model access, and every serious player has to answer the same question: when the next model your users want comes from a lab you've never worked with, how long until it's in your product?

Direct model contracts: every provider is its own commercial relationship, billing account, authentication setup, and integration, and the provider list grows every month. That overhead scales with the size of your catalog, which for an aggregator product means it scales with your ambition. Answering the question above starts with a sales call and an integration sprint, every time.

Building in-house: self-hosting open models means GPU capacity planning and ops headcount a lean team can't spare, and it still doesn't get you the closed models users ask for by name.

Atlas Cloud: one vendor relationship that carries every new model behind it, support that scales with a hot workload, and provisioning built for spiky consumer traffic.

Yapper competes directly with Higgsfield and other AI creative suites chasing the same model-breadth promise. Model velocity, how fast a new release reaches Yapper's users, is one of the ways it wins that fight.

What's next

Yapper is expanding what the Agent tool can orchestrate, and every new model it wants to put behind the Agent can arrive through the Atlas integration it already runs.

"Every model release in this space is a huge product opportunity. Atlas streamlines the overhead that comes with adding new support."
