Reve API: Layout-First 4K Image Generation

The Reve API gives developers programmatic access to Reve 2.1, a layout-first image model from Reve AI that generates, edits, and remixes images at native 4K resolution. On Atlas Cloud it is exposed through one API key and a simple REST interface, so you can move from a prompt to production imagery without managing any infrastructure.

Atlas Cloud hosts three Reve 2.1 endpoints: text-to-image for generating from natural-language prompts, edit for instruction-driven changes to a single image, and remix for composing up to six reference images into one coherent scene. All three output native 4K images and share the same authentication and request flow.

Typography is where Reve 2.1 earns most of its reputation, rendering dense, legible text directly inside images, which makes it a strong pick for posters, packaging, infographics, and UI mockups. Because the model plans each image as a structured layout before rendering, spatial relationships and prompt details also hold up unusually well at native 4K.

Remix takes one to six reference images per request, passed as URLs or base64 strings, in WEBP, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, or AVIF format with each file up to 40 MB. Inside the prompt you can point at specific references using frame tags, which keeps subjects, styles, and backgrounds consistent in the final composition.

Eighteen aspect ratios are available, ranging from ultra-wide 4:1 banners to tall 1:4 formats, with square and standard photo ratios in between. Output arrives as PNG, JPEG, or WEBP at native 4K, and optional flags let you remove the background for transparency or apply more than 50 post-processing effects such as grain, bokeh, and duotone.

Every Reve 2.1 endpoint on Atlas Cloud is priced at $0.24 per image at the standard rate, whether you generate from text, edit, or remix. Billing is pay-as-you-go with no subscription required, so costs scale directly with the number of images your application produces.

Edit works on a single input image and applies targeted, element-level changes while preserving the rest of the scene. Remix instead builds a new composition from one to six references, blending subject, style, and background under your prompt's direction. Reach for edit when you need surgical corrections, and for remix when you want separate references combined into something new.

Requests are asynchronous by default: the Reve API returns a prediction ID immediately, and you poll the prediction endpoint until the status reads completed. If you prefer a single round trip, enable sync mode to receive the result directly in the response. Base64 output is also available when you would rather embed the image than download it from a URL.
