Compare three Seedance 2.0 fast endpoints for prompt-based creation, frame-guided generation, and multimodal video workflows.
| Modality | Description |
|---|---|
| Seedance 2.0 Fast T2V API (Text To Video) | Turn text prompts into video with fast generation and native audio. This endpoint suits rapid concept visualization, social content, advertising drafts, and other prompt-driven video workflows. |
| Seedance 2.0 Fast I2V API (Image To Video) | Starting with a first-frame image, this endpoint generates video with native audio and can also accept an optional last frame. Use it for animating artwork, developing product visuals, or guiding a clip between defined frames. |
| Seedance 2.0 Fast R2V API (Reference To Video) | Combine reference images, videos, and audio to produce multimodal video output. Built-in video editing and extension support makes the endpoint useful for reference-led creation, footage revision, and clip continuation. |
Seedance 2.0 Fast combines rapid text, image, and multimodal video generation with native synchronized audio, flexible 4 to 15 second timing, reference guided editing, multiple output formats, and production controls through one pay as you go Atlas Cloud API.
Move from a text prompt to a finished clip with the speed optimized Seedance 2.0 Fast text to video mode. Set any duration from 4 to 15 seconds, or let the model choose automatically. Seven aspect ratio options cover cinematic, square, portrait, and adaptive framing. This flexibility suits rapid concept tests, social variations, and production batches.
Audio is created with the video in the same generation through the generate_audio control. The output can include synchronized voice, sound effects, and background music without requiring a separate sound pass. Pair audible actions with precise visual beats, then decide whether sound belongs in each request. It is a natural fit for dialogue, music driven edits, and atmosphere rich short films.
Combine as many as 9 reference images, 3 videos, and 3 audio files in one Seedance 2.0 Fast reference request. Prompts can assign each asset a role while the model uses them for character, style, scene, motion, or sound guidance. Video references also support editing and extension workflows. Use this mode when a concept needs stronger continuity than text alone can provide.
Begin with a required first frame and add an optional last frame to define where the motion should arrive. Between those anchors, the image to video mode generates movement with native audio and your chosen 4 to 15 second duration. This endpoint turns approved artwork into controlled transitions, animated product shots, or compact story beats while preserving the intended opening and finish.
Choose 480p or 720p output, or select 720p SR, 1080p SR, or 1440p SR when the delivery calls for an upscaled format. Standard and high bitrate modes balance file size against encoded crispness. Optional watermarking, seed control for similar reruns, and a returned last frame add practical pipeline hooks. These settings help developers prepare assets for varied publishing and continuation workflows.
Call text to video, image to video, and reference to video workflows through one Atlas Cloud API. Transparent pay as you go billing uses the verified standard base price of $0.09 without relying on a temporary discount. Developers can keep one integration while selecting the input mode each job needs. This approach fits products that mix ideation, animation, editing, and extension.
See how Seedance 2.0 fast and two alternative video models interpret identical prompts across cinematic realism, motion continuity, camera control, visual style, and narrative timing.
Create a 6 second photorealistic cinematic sequence in a crowded flower market at golden hour. A golden retriever grabs a bouquet and races down the cobblestone lane as petals scatter behind it. Begin with a low angle tracking shot beside its paws, whip pan to the surprised florist chasing through the crowd, then arc around the dog as it skids to a stop and returns one flower to a laughing child. End with a rising crane shot revealing the florist catching up and smiling. Maintain continuous natural motion, realistic cloth and petal physics, warm directional light, lively footsteps, barking, market ambience, and playful orchestral percussion. 16:9 aspect ratio.

Create an 6 second whimsical clay stop motion adventure inside a moonlit bakery. A tiny flour covered mouse sprints across the counter while rolling a cherry twice its size, dodges a falling whisk, and launches the cherry from a wooden spoon onto a finished cake. Open with an overhead push in, switch to a fast countertop tracking shot during the chase, then orbit the cake as the cherry lands and releases a sparkling sugar cloud shaped like a crown. Keep every action energetic and connected, with tactile clay textures, soft blue window light, rhythmic kitchen clatter, tiny squeaks, and jaunty pizzicato music. 16:9 aspect ratio.

Seedance 2.0 Fast carries video ideas from rapid prompt tests and guided image animation through multimodal reference production, clip revision, story extension, and repeatable content pipelines with native audio.
Seedance 2.0 Fast turns text prompts into videos with native audio for rapid creative testing. Build ideation tools for storyboards, pitch concepts, and campaign drafts across teams and client reviews.
A first-frame image can become a moving sequence, with an optional last frame guiding the ending and native audio generated alongside it. This suits product teasers, artwork motion, and visual concept previews.
When source assets define the brief, combine reference images, videos, and audio to guide new footage. Seedance 2.0 Fast supports campaign variations, visual experiments, and reusable creative directions across production teams.
Can existing footage be revised without rebuilding the source from scratch? Reference-to-video editing lets applications reshape clips for ads, scenes, and reusable media assets across streamlined production and creative review pipelines.
Extend an existing clip through the reference-to-video endpoint and carry its story forward from source media. This enables episodic content, longer narrative assemblies, and iterative scene development for filmmakers and creators.
For production, feed prompts or reference assets into the model and receive video with native audio in one workflow. Seedance 2.0 Fast can power content pipelines for social clips, product launches, and campaign variations.

Seedance 2.0 Fast is ByteDance's accelerated video generation model family for creating videos from text, images, and multimodal references. Atlas Cloud provides separate endpoints for text to video, image to video, and reference to video, all with native audio support.
Choose text to video for prompt based creation, or animate a first frame with the image to video endpoint and optionally define the last frame. Reference to video accepts images, videos, and audio for multimodal generation, video editing, and extension.
Create an API key in the Atlas Cloud dashboard and store it securely in a server environment variable. Select the endpoint that matches your input workflow, then submit a prompt and the required media. Generation runs asynchronously, so save the returned prediction ID.
Send an authenticated POST request to `/api/v1/model/generateVideo` with the exact model ID and endpoint specific inputs. Use the returned prediction ID to poll `/api/v1/model/prediction/{prediction_id}` until the request completes or reaches a terminal error state.
Text prompts are supported across the family, while image to video requires a first frame and accepts an optional last frame. Reference to video can accept up to nine images, three videos, and three audio files. Available controls include duration, resolution, aspect ratio, bitrate mode, seed, audio generation, watermarking, and last frame return.
Native synchronized audio is available for all three generation modes and is enabled by default. Set `generate_audio` to `false` when your workflow requires video without generated audio.
Atlas Cloud lists a standard price of $0.09 per generated video second for the three Seedance 2.0 Fast endpoints. Billing is pay as you go, so total cost scales with output duration and the selected generation settings.
The Fast variant is designed for lower latency workflows such as prompt iteration, drafts, and higher volume generation. Atlas Cloud exposes Fast and standard variants through separate model IDs. Compare both with representative prompts before choosing one for a production workload.
First, verify the Bearer token, exact model ID, required inputs, media limits, and accepted parameter values. Continue polling with the returned prediction ID until the status becomes completed, failed, or timeout. When using reference audio, include at least one reference image or video as required by the schema.
