|---|---|
| Vidu Q1 Image To Video API | Turn a source image and motion instructions into a smoothly animated video with optional audio and cinematic quality up to 1080p. Use it for animated artwork, product visuals, or narrative shots based on existing imagery. |
| Vidu Q1 Reference To Video API | A reference image guides the creation of a high quality video with smooth motion, optional audio, and output up to 1080p. This endpoint suits character focused clips, branded visuals, and scenes that need a supplied visual anchor. |
| Vidu Q1 Start End To Video API | Provide opening and closing images to generate a video that moves between the two visual states. Smooth animation and cinematic output up to 1080p make it suitable for planned transitions, transformations, and connected story sequences. |
| Vidu Q1 Text To Video API | When a concept begins with words, this endpoint converts the text prompt into a high quality generated video. Optional audio and cinematic quality up to 1080p support concept visualization, advertising scenes, and short narrative content. |
Vidu Q1 turns text, source images, subject references, and paired boundary frames into fixed five second 1080p videos, with configurable motion, aspect ratio, style, audio, seeds, and transparent API access across supported routes.
Vidu Q1 supports text to video, image to video, reference to video, and start and end frame generation through dedicated Atlas Cloud model IDs. Begin with a prompt, one source image, multiple subject references, or two boundary frames. Each route produces a fixed five second clip at 1080p. This range suits rapid concepting, asset animation, and controlled story beats.
Reference to video accepts 1 to 7 subjects and 1 to 7 images in total, with as many as 3 images assigned to each subject. Mention subject IDs in the prompt to direct their roles. The model carries referenced people or objects into a five second 1080p scene. It fits character driven clips, fashion demonstrations, and product storytelling.
Set the first and last frames, then describe the action that should connect them. Vidu Q1 generates a smooth five second transition at 1080p while preserving the requested endpoints. Select auto, small, medium, or large movement amplitude to match the scene. This route gives storyboards, visual transformations, and compact narrative beats a defined destination.
Dial Vidu Q1 motion from auto to small, medium, or large, then use a seed when repeatable iteration matters. Text to video also offers general and anime styles plus 16:9, 9:16, and 1:1 aspect ratios. These controls let developers test restrained gestures, dynamic action, horizontal scenes, or vertical social content without changing models.
Sound can be generated with video through supported Atlas routes, while background music is available through dedicated controls. Reference to video adds all, speech only, and sound effect only audio modes. Pair a five second 1080p clip with dialogue, effects, or music in one request. This is useful for social cuts, product reveals, and short narrative moments that need sound from the first render.
Use one Atlas Cloud API key and the same asynchronous generateVideo workflow across all four Vidu Q1 routes. Requests return a prediction ID, and completed outputs arrive as standard URLs. The verified standard base price is $0.40, billed with transparent pay as you go access. This setup helps developers add several generation modes without maintaining separate provider integrations.
See how Vidu Q1 and two Atlas Cloud alternatives interpret identical prompts across a kinetic urban chase and a stylized fantasy adventure.
A 10-second handcrafted fabric-puppet stop-motion sequence inside a cramped vintage clothing boutique: a charismatic, visually consistent puppet character has just slipped into a vivid orange trench coat when gravity abruptly flips upward. Clothing racks spin, wooden hangers clatter, and burgundy berets, mustard-yellow garments, peacock-blue scarves, and loose buttons surge toward the ceiling like a startled school of fish. Start with a rapid dolly push through a narrow gap between swaying hangers; as the character plants one foot on a rotating wardrobe and vaults upward, transition into a dramatic low-angle tracking shot. Keep the character moving continuously as they tumble through the airborne clothes, sequentially catching and putting on three distinct pieces—a burgundy beret, a mustard waistcoat, and a peacock-blue scarf—in one fluid, exaggerated midair costume change, with sleeves rolling, hems whipping, buttons colliding, and layered fabrics twisting under believable reversed gravity. Orbit tightly around the character during the transformation, preserving exact facial features, body proportions, and costume continuity, then whip outward into a fast symmetrical wide shot as gravity snaps back and everything drops into place. The character lands in a triumphant pose, but a white stoat hidden inside the trench coat springs out first, its fur bouncing, flips on tiny black sunglasses, and steals the final pose. Warm tungsten practical lights clash beautifully with cool teal window light, rich tactile fibers, visible stitching, expressive puppet animation, playful physical comedy, crisp rhythmic stop-motion timing, strong radial depth created by floating clothes, seamless camera transitions, no slow motion. Audio: brisk retro swing percussion, rushing fabric, wooden hanger clacks, sharp button taps, wardrobe creaks, a bass-drum hit when gravity returns, and a cheeky final sunglasses click. 16:9 aspect ratio.

An 8–10 second cinematic micro-story set in a rustic pottery workshop during a violent rainstorm: a young potter works at a rapidly spinning wheel beneath a dripping tiled eave as cold crosswind and rain sweep through the open studio. Begin with an extreme macro tracking shot skimming beside the rotating wheel, capturing his wet clay-coated fingers shaping a tall, narrow-necked vase, every ridge, wobble, droplet, and centrifugal pull rendered with tactile precision. A sudden gust blows the vessel off-axis; whip-cut to an over-the-shoulder view as he leans forward, accelerates the wheel with one hand, and braces the collapsing clay with the other. Instead of recovering, the spinning wet clay stretches continuously into a glossy, lifelike mud eel, coils around his forearm, wriggles free, and launches toward a nearby water bucket. Execute a fast, tightly controlled orbit around the potter during the transformation and escape, preserving exact character, hand, clay, and spatial continuity. The mud eel strikes the water with believable weight, throwing a circular crown splash, droplets, and ripples across the floor. Finish with a sudden overhead shot as the drenched potter, caught between laughter and disbelief, plunges both hands into the bucket trying to catch it while the eel slips between his fingers. Continuous high-density motion, anatomically correct hands, convincing wet-clay deformation, rotational inertia, momentum, fluid collision, splash dynamics, and synchronized environmental audio: pounding rain, roof drips, gusting wind, humming pottery wheel, sticky clay squelches, a sharp splash, and the potter’s startled laugh; no dialogue or music. Photorealistic cinematic realism blended with exquisitely detailed tactile clay texture, cool blue storm light clashing with warm amber kiln fire, shallow depth of field shifting naturally between shots, eccentric off-center framing that intensifies the loss of control, crisp motion clarity, no slow motion, no screens, interfaces, dashboards, progress bars, charts, captions, logos, or on-screen text, 16:9 aspect ratio.

Vidu Q1 is a family of AI video generation endpoints available through Atlas Cloud. It generates five-second, 1080p videos from text, images, subject references, or defined start and end frames, with optional audio depending on the endpoint.
Use it to create videos from written prompts, animate a still image, preserve referenced subjects, or build a transition between two specified frames. These modes support workflows such as concept visualization, character animation, product motion, and short visual sequences.
Create an API key in the Atlas Cloud dashboard, select the appropriate model ID, and prepare the required inputs shown in that endpoint’s schema. Submit the request with Bearer authentication, then use the returned prediction ID to retrieve the completed video.
Four routes are available: text-to-video, image-to-video, reference-to-video, and start-end-to-video. Their model IDs are `vidu/q1/text-to-video`, `vidu/q1/image-to-video`, `vidu/q1/reference-to-video`, and `vidu/q1/start-end-to-video`.
Send a POST request to `https://api.atlascloud.ai/api/v1/model/generateVideo` with your API key and endpoint-specific payload. The request returns a prediction ID, which you can poll through `/api/v1/model/prediction/{prediction_id}` until the status reports completion or failure.
Required inputs depend on the route: a prompt, an image and prompt, two frames and prompt, or a subjects array and prompt. Available controls include movement amplitude, seed, audio settings, and route-specific aspect ratios, so validate every payload against the selected schema.
Every listed endpoint produces a fixed five-second video at 1080p. Optional audio is supported, although the available controls differ by route and may include generated audio, background music, or selectable audio types.
Atlas Cloud lists a standard base price of $0.40 per generation for each of the four Vidu Q1 endpoints. Check the selected endpoint before submitting a request to confirm its current charge.
For identity-sensitive scenes, choose reference-to-video and assign each subject an ID that can be referenced in the prompt. The route supports one to seven subjects with one to seven images in total, while each subject can include up to three PNG, JPEG, JPG, or WebP images.
